YOUR FUTURE CONTRIBUTION:

As an ambitious fully-qualified or commercial lawyer with professional experience, you will shape the future of the travel industry with us and apply your profound business understanding in the changing law environment of the online travel world. 

You deliver outstanding advice, review thoroughly and take on a high variety of legal tasks in particular concerning civil, e-commerce, data protection, regulatory, corporate, labor and contract law as well as compliance.

HOW YOU'LL ADD VALUE:

• Reviewing, negotiating and drafting of contracts in close collaboration with various departments
• Assessment of legal requests and pragmatic solution finding
• Communication of legal advice in a simple, practicable and clear manner
• Work closely with our experienced corporate / M&A lawyer to advise senior management in corporate, capital markets and acquisition topics
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements
• Implementation and enforcement of compliance processes throughout the entire HomeToGo Group
• Support in corporate governance and post-merger implementation
• Participation and leadership in projects inherent to different departments or group entities 
• Assisting in litigation matters
• Improvement of legal templates and iterating standard contracts

YOU'LL BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE IF YOU:

• Diligence and reliability: sense of responsibility, eye for detail and nuance
• Good analytical and communication skills
• Business understanding, solution orientation and sound judgement 
• Open mindset, are candid and receptive to feedback, and possess a direct nature
• Two state exams passed above average or similar (commercial) law degree
• Independent, proactive and pragmatic work approach with ability to prioritize
• 2-5 years of work experience in law firm, corporate or preferably start-up
• English fluent, German at least C-level skill
• 2-5 years of professional experience with a focus on civil, data protection, commercial, IP/IT law 
• Experience in compliance
• Broad experience in various legal fields 
• Intercultural competence and team/communication skills
• Driving of legal excellence and ownership
