Why have you decided to pursue a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree?

I decided to pursue the LL.M degree to gain a full understanding of the U.S legal system, inlcuding U.S. patent practice. I want to provide excellent service to my current and future clients based on my experience and knowledge.

Why did you choose to study at University of New Hampshire School of LAW?

I chose UNH Law for its specialized IP program and its alumni network. UNH Law’s IP program has been ranked among the top 10 in the U.S. for more than 27 years. It provides an excellent curriculum, highly experienced faculty members, and good facilities.

Describe the LL.M. course you are studying.

I am taking a basic legal course that includes writing and legal research and specialized intellectual property courses, including Patent Law, Trademark law, Online Brand Management, Current Issues in IP, International and Comparative IP, IP Management, and more.

Which classes do you like most and why?

My favorite class is “Current Issues in IP.“ This class is very useful to learn about current technology issues, intellectual property disputes, and the overall U.S legal system. Students share their knowledge through presentations and class discussions and also grow their research and writing skills.

How do you finance your education?

I financed my education through financial aid from my law firm, a partial tuition scholarship from UNH Law, and my own personal resources.

What was your most exiting, interesting, astonishing or hilarious experience at so far?

IP Lunch and Learn meetings are held at least two times per month. We hear lectures from IP professionals and have time to network. It's often a nice break from my busy school schedule.

What is the best thing about the program?

There are a lot of classes that focus on practical work – particularly in patent and trademark areas. I am learning valuable practice skills that I know will be useful on the job.

Name three terms that you associate with the word „law“.

Truth, Equality, Development

What are your plans after graduating?

I will return to my law firm and continue to develop my work abilties and skills based on the knowledge I gained from UNH Law.

What advice do you have prospective students?

I recommend UNH Law to students who have an interest in IP law. Many people, inluding the dean, professors, classmates, and alumi can help guide your future while you are here. I recommend students maximize the school’s resources by connecting with these people and taking advantage of all these opportunities. Concord, New Hampshire is a great place to study law and offers lots of beautiful places for relaxation. Please do not hestitate in choosing UNH Law!
