IE Business School is proud to offer a unique combined event opportunity for its candidates from Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

The event will commence with the IE Business School Admission Test for all candidates. Afterwards candidates will get the opportunity to talk to the onsite IE representatives and ask any questions they may have about application process, program format, fees, financial aid, living and studying in Madrid. At the same time candidates who have submitted their online application, paid the application fee and done the online assessment will get the chance to finalize the application process by completing the Personal interview with one of our Admissions Directors.

The second part of this event includes a Masterclass on the topic “Digital Economy Tax Policy race and how to value digital platform business models” given by Ignacio Longarte, Adjunct Professor and Business Mentor at IE Business School. Ignacio Longarte is a professor in IE Master in Global Taxation, Expert in Digital Value Chains and Chairman of DET3: Digital Economy Taxation Think Tank.

Can we apply adjusted traditional regulation making principles to the omnipresent digital value-chains? Ignacio Longarte will explain us how the geo-politic tensions are converting the challenge of creating an international taxation regulatory context. He will give us updates for the digitalized global economy in a difficult race that lives its most critical and controversial “action timing period” right now.

This talk is open to all interested students to attend and would give you the opportunity to experience what a typical class at IE is like.

Finally we invite all guests for a networking cocktail.
