Prof. Constance Wagner

Professor

How long have you been teaching at SLU LAW?

I joined the law school faculty and became affiliated with CICL in 1995.

How has your professional legal experience affected your teaching?

I have extensive practice experience in corporate law and international business transactions. I use my classroom teaching.

What courses do you teach?

My teaching areas include Business Associations, Securities and Banking Regulation, International Trade Law, and International Business Transactions.

What is your daily routine as a professor?

I spend time each day on teaching, researching and writing articles for publication, and committee work for the university and for professional associations.

What do you do in your leisure time?

I enjoy music and theatre, golfing, bicycling, and doing volunteer work in my community.

What advice do you have foreign students?

Studying law abroad is a wonderful way to learn about another legal system. I value my own international experience as a foreign student earning an LL.M. at a German university and interning in two German law firms. That experience helped me to better understand international law practice.
