At Siemens Legal, we are seeking a creative and technically adept Legal Engineer to transform our Legal, Compliance and Intellectual Property (LC) function through the intelligent application of technology, with a strong emphasis on Artificial Intelligence and process design.

Become our driving force for the automation and digitalization of our services. Work closely with our lawyers, as well as IP and compliance professionals across Siemens, to understand their workflows, identify inefficiencies, and develop tailored solutions driven by technology – from sophisticated document automation to strategic implementation of AI. You will be a key member of the AI Delivery team, bridging the gap between legal expertise and latest technological innovation.

*For Austria, the following applies: The gross annual salary according to the collective agreement of the electrical and electronics industry for this position is at least EUR 65,000. Depending on qualifications and experience, a higher salary is possible.

You'll make an impact by

• You analyze, optimize, and automate complex legal processes by using AI and machine learning to enhance efficiency, quality, and predictive analytics within legal operations
• Building on this, you evaluate, pilot, and implement advanced Legal Tech and AI solutions, seamlessly integrating them into existing workflows and developing strategies for successful enterprise-wide adoption
• You own the development of AI-powered document automation programs, designing smart templates and optimizing structures for intelligent content generation, clause identification, and compliance checks
• Collaborating closely with legal teams, you translate their requirements into technical specifications for new AI tools, ensuring that solutions are user-centric and legally robust
• Finally, you design and deliver comprehensive training and guidance initiatives, empowering legal professionals to maximize the potential of AI applications and drive ongoing innovation in legal processes

This is how you'll win us over

• Education: You have a Master’s degree in law, technology or related fields
• Experience and Skills: Proven first years of professional experience in Legal Tech, Legal Operations, Legal Innovation, or a similar role with a clear focus on AI and process design
• Hands-on expertise with common Legal Tech applications and AI tools and platforms
• Showed skills in process and document automation, legal process design, and requirements engineering, especially in applying AI to legal challenges
• Ways of Working: You possess strong project management skills and excel at leading complex, technology-driven projects, collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Languages: Excellent English skills; German language proficiency is an advantage
