For each LLM programme Maastricht University assesses whether your prior education makes you admissible:

  • Graduates from a non-Dutch university bachelor’s degree in Law
  • Graduates from another bachelor’s programme: Excellent students with a university of applied sciences degree (e.g. HBO/ Hochschule), or an academic BA or BSc bachelor in a field that does not grant direct admission into this programme, have to pass the entrance exam.

Please notice: the admission requirements are very specific per LLM programme. Always check our website for the most up to date information.

Intakes

Our one-year LLM classes start the first week of September. Most LLM programmes also have an intake in February.
